For our latest fundraising activity, our team were challenged to take part in ‘Fitness February’ – committing to at least 30 minutes of exercise a day or exercising 5 out of 7 days a week. We took up the challenge with enthusiasm, running, walking, dancing, taking part in fitness classes and cycling. It focused us to get outside a bit more and released some of our ‘lockdown stress’. We made a donation to take part, which was boosted by our Directors, Jo and Jon and a great total of £500 was raised.
These funds have been donated to PAPYRUS , a charity dedicated to the prevention of young suicide and building a suicide safer community. I’m sure we all feel that our exercise efforts have been worth it to be able to support this charity. The bonus is we will all be feeling much fitter and hopefully encouraged to keep up a level of exercise now February is over.
